See-Through & Panoramic Acrylic Pool Floors

Panoramic acrylic pool floors turn the bottom of a pool into a window. Instead of a solid base, the floor is a transparent structural surface that lets light and the view pass through to the space below, a lobby, a room, open air beneath a rooftop pool.

Structural cell-cast PMMA is what makes this possible, because it can carry the full weight of the water column and the people in it while staying clear. The result is a true see-through swimming pool, open to the space beneath it.

A floor is the hardest panel to get right

A transparent floor carries everything above it, the water, the swimmers, the dynamic loads, directly over occupied space. There is no margin for an under-specified panel. We engineer pool floors to the full combined load with certified calculations, then build them to that specification.

Done properly, the result is the most dramatic effect in the building: open air or a finished room visible directly beneath a sheet of water.

Light, view and safety together

Beyond the spectacle, a transparent floor brings daylight into the space below and creates a genuine connection between two levels. We resolve clarity, slip behaviour and structural safety as one problem rather than trading one against another.

Each floor is delivered with our standard assurance: every installation is backed by a 10-year leak-proof guarantee and a 30-year no-colour-change guarantee on the acrylic.

Questions, answered

Acrylic Pool Floors, frequently asked

Yes. The floor is engineered to carry the full water column plus live and dynamic loads from people, with certified structural calculations sizing the panel for that combined load.

Yes, that is one of its main uses. A pool floor over a lobby, room or open air lets light and the view pass through, and we engineer it specifically for loading directly above occupied space.

We engineer clarity, slip resistance and structural capacity together, so the floor is safe to use as well as transparent.
